Kelab Alami F.C.
Kelab Bola Sepak Kelab Alami - Archived
Kelab Alami Football Club (KA F.C.) first began in 2009 to give the Mukim Tanjung Kupang's
rempits (motorcycle boys) a positive focus away from vice. Together with other veteran soccer players (mostly full-time fishermen), they joined tournaments such as the Liga Success and other futsal or field competitions. Their best results was coming in 4th in the Liga Success in 2012. The KA F.C. older youth eventually became Kelab Alami Abangs and helped to keep an eye out on the younger club members as they did their habitat monitoring. In 2015, after a break of a few years, KA F.C. was restarted to focus on younger youth, many of whom are at-risk of being distracted by negative influences. The hope was that by learning the proper techniques of playing football and futsal, they would have the motivation to stay on the straight and narrow and could perhaps find future careers in sport if they are unable to perform academically. KA F.C now works with under-16 youth with the under 12 boys being especially dedicated. We plan to have some futsal tournaments for the neighbourhood and hope to send on youth with potential to try on for bigger regional teams. The KA F.C. manager is Shalan Jum'at, assisted by Mohd Irfan bin Yazid. KA F.C. coaches are Mohammad Ridhwan bin Mohd Yazid and Ranmani bin Mario. Mohammad Ridhwan, Mohd Irfan and Muhd Sofi b Johari have been trained and certified as FIFA-approved referees through the KA F.C. programme. Updated: 5.7.2017 |
